8 September - Welcome Evening

"What I did in the Hols"

The season kicks off with our Welcome Evening. This evening is open to all. Come along, meet our members and hear some of them present a selection of their work. Light refreshments will be provided.

15 September - Collecting and using Classic Cameras

Speaker: David Steele

David has a large collection of cameras, perhaps you started your photography with one similar.

22 September - Melbourne Trophy

Judge: Anna Meek

29 September- South African Wildlife and Landscape

Speaker: N Malton

The first of several evenings on travel photography.

6 October - Annual Slide Competition

Judge: Michael Baxton

13 October - Cuban Adventure

Speaker: Adrian Stone

Adrian has been involved in the Art in Hospitals Scheme so has to find time for his photography during his holidays abroad.

20 October - Competition vs St Neots

Print and Slide battle versus St Neots & District Camera Club.

27 October - Temples and Steam Trains of India

Speaker: Dave Eatwell

Dave is a keen railway enthusiast but there should be plenty for everyone this evening.

3 November - Set Subject Competition - 'Reflections'

10 November - Bits and Pieces

Speaker: Derek Sayer

Monochrome prints. 'Wet' prints and digital. After producing his ARPS panel Derek went digital.

17 November - A Journey Through Swavesey - part 2

Speaker: John Shepperson

The completion of John's popular slide show of historical photographs. This time he will travel from Middlewatch to Church End.

24 November - Scotland - The Wilderness on Your Doorstep

Speaker: Ian Rowlands

Ian holds regular excellent courses on wildlife photography at Speyside. A must for those interested in natural history.

1 December - Monochrome Trophy

8 December - We'll Cure Their Bacon

A friendly competition against the Photographic Imaging group (PIGS) of the Motor Caravan Club.

15 December - Pictures on Your Doorstep

Speaker: Richard Oldfield

Richard will show us the photographic opportunities we sometimes miss while concentrating on more exotic locations.

16 March - Phuket to Singapore

Anna is a well-known judge and lecturer - now for 'Anna on Ice'.

13 April - Mounting and Presentation

How to make the best impression with your finished work. A representative from Longridge Mount Cutting Systems will be travelling from the Isle of Wight for this presentation. Longbridge's range of mount cutters and accessories will be available for purchase on the evening.

20 April - Outdoor Portraits

Speaker: Diana Holmes

Diana is a professional who prefers to pose her clients in natural surroundings.

22 April - Spring Exhibition

An exhibition in Swavesey is being arranged that will feature the work of our members. It will be open to the general public.

27 April - Safari to Back Garden and Beyond

Speaker: Liz Hatton

Liz has visited us many times in her role as judge. Tonight we are happy to have her return to show us some of her ownexcellent work.

4 May - Colour Print Competition

11 May - Image of the Year Competition
